#ReedOnAIR Season 2

BREAKING NEWS: AIR Toronto Radio and #ReedOnAIR announce summer hiatus beginning June 2015, with Season 2 of #ReedOnAIR to kick off this September.

I can't believe it's already been six months of #ReedOnAIR! My weekly radio show debuted worldwide on Toronto's #1 hit international music radio station, AIR Toronto Radio, back in January of this year, and the time has flown by so quickly.

In that six months, it's crazy to think about all that's happened along the way. We've put together special editions airing from Miami for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival in February, and covered events like the Academy Awards and the GRAMMYs in Hollywood this past spring as well. We've reported on breaking news, explored major social trends, organized giveaways for our listeners, and interviewed celebrities, journalists, newsmakers, and award winners. We've even managed to sneak in another of my greatest passions — politics! — along the way, dedicating a special hour of our show to analyzing the results of UK General Election in May.

The show has taken me from New York City across the country and indeed around the world through your iPhones, radios, computer screens, and earphones. We've had listeners in dozens of countries, and watershed moments in which we've registered more than 500+ listeners tuning into the show and joining our audience every second. Insane!

Big thanks to my amazing producers and our brilliant guests who have come on the program, making it so fun for me to host week after week. This past half a year has been stellar!

But now it's time to take a few weeks of a breather. We've been working nonstop on the show for quite a while now, and the team and I are looking forward to a brief summer vacation before we resume with all new weekly episodes starting this fall. As of September, we'll be back on the airwaves of AIR Toronto with an even bigger, better, and stronger show in store, so get ready to be wowed!

Till then, we'll be traveling, relaxing, and resting up even as my team meets on Skype in Toronto, New York, and Miami every week to plan logistics and details for Season 2 of #ReedOnAIR. It's going to be huge and we can't wait to hit the ground running on organizing lots of guests, interactivity starring you guys — our listeners! — and tons of surprises, and I'm getting excited even as I sit here and type this out.

For now, though, that's the news — that we're sending you our sincerest thanks and gratitude for your support of our show, and we can't wait to start all over again this September. Stay tuned!
